#1 Teeth Whitener Today Voted By Whiten Teeth Simply and Many Others.

Your clothes, your hair or your hygiene, tell me something about you just like your teeth do. Many people are trying to find out the most cost-efficient yet dependable and effective way to whiten their teeth.

The dulling darkening and staining of teeth may be a result of many habits in your life such as; if you smoke or not, how much alcohol you consume, the fruits you eat, your diet, your age and/or your genetics.

Did you know that healthy fruits can damage your enamel making them easier to darken and dull? This is due to the acidity of the fruit. Another surprising fact is that tea and coffee both darken your teeth if consumed regularly.

What people do not know is that you do NOT have to spend over $400 on teeth whitening by professionals such as dentists or over $1000 on laser treatments. They take a great amount of your time, cost so much, and their results do not reflect the cost, not anymore as teeth whitening methods have sky-rocketed.

On the low end of the spectrum you have very cheap methods such as whitening toothpaste, mouthwash and gum. These are very affordable however for any visible results, you will have to wait weeks. In the case of gum, it could take longer. With these products you will need high commitment and you could loose your passion after trying so hard with minimal results.

Overview of Laser Teeth Whitening

There's something about a big bright smile. Especially one that shows beautiful white teeth. A bright white smile says "healthy", and to be honest, people with beautiful white teeth somehow even look happier. A whiter smile can make a person more confident and outgoing in social situations such as interviews and conversations with friends and the opposite sex.

Unfortunately most of us don't have the whitest smile that we could. Years of drinking teeth damaging, dark colored beverages such as coffee, tea, soda, and red wine, smoking, and aging take their toll on the color of tooth enamel. The great news is that today anyone can have a dazzling white smile.

Over the years teeth whitening has become the most common form of cosmetic dentistry performed. It's a very simple and fairly inexpensive way (depending on your choice of treatment) to greatly improve your smile. There are several ways to whiten your teeth depending on the amount of money you want to spend, and your level of patience.

You can choose from tooth whitening gels and whitening toothpaste, bleaching strips, bleaching gel with a fitted mouth tray, or laser teeth whitening. Laser teeth whitening is sometimes called in-office bleaching. Of all these different types of alternatives laser teeth whitening is the fastest way to a white smile (by only a couple days), it's also the most expensive. A one hour teeth whitening session generally runs around $600.00.

Laser teeth whitening is considered the top of the line treatment. It takes about one hour. The dentist applies a bleach solvent containing hydrogen peroxide to the teeth. You will find that hydrogen peroxide is found in all teeth whitening products but in different quantities. The higher the amount of hydrogen peroxide the faster the tooth whitening will take place. Once the bleach is on the teeth the teeth are subjected to a light source, usually a laser. This laser activates the hydrogen peroxide. This application is left on your teeth for twenty minutes. This process is then repeated two more times before you are done.

Of course, the results you achieve from any tooth whitening system will fade over time. Trying to avoid dark colored drinks and not smoking will help you enjoy the results longer.
